Ackkk, due to a hosting issue, all of my FTR audio files were deleted from the internet. As you may notice, I did get of the more recent FTR episodes up and running again. I do have backups of the other files and will be, slowly but surely, re-uploading them so that I can make them active here again!

Thank you for your patience and I hope you are having a wonderful holiday season!

This audio features an interview with Coach Dan, creator of Workouts for Baseball (also completely applicable to softball). In this episode he talks about his new free workout DVD offer, how it can benefit teams, and players, and how the DVD came about.

If you need to add a fitness component to your softball training, this is an audio you don’t want to miss.

This Fastpitch Talk Radio Episode is actually a recording of a Live “Hot Seat” Call that I did with Coach Bill Vasko.  Coach Vasko is a DII Softball Coach and offered to field ANY questions that callers and myself could throw at him.

So for just about an hour, we were on the line getting the scoop on:

  • What Coach Vasko looks for in potential recruits
  • How to avoid common mistake players make when contacting college coaches
  • Coach Vasko’s take on sports specialization
  • Practice organization
  • Coaching the mental game
  • How the DII recruiting timeline is different from the DI timeline and why
  • Which Coach Vasko spends more time on (defense vs hitting)
  • …and more
